Beyond-The-Classroom Teaching

Recitations

Recitation sessions supplement classroom instruction and provide valuable problem-solving skills. Recitation sessions are organized every semester for Organicic Chemistry I and II.

Organic Chemistry Workshops

Organic chemistry workshops take place before the beginning of the semester and provide a primer for core concepts in preparation for Organic Chemistry I. The workshops consist of roughly 8 hours of total instruction.

O.ChemRank

ACSlogo

O.ChemRank is a web application that allows students to solve "ranking" problems on a variety of organic chemistry topics. The app was developed by an interdisciplinary team of UTD faculty and students including Dr. Stefan, Dr. Biewer, Dr. Ovidiu Daescu, Vishal Rajesh, Nisha Rajesh, Samantha Gant, Sean Kennedy, Justin Miller, Zacharia Shoaib, Narayana Yenukonda, Raheel Ahmed, Umar Kazi, Saman Laleh, and Hanghang Wang.
