Striving to create a culture of inclusion, access, and development for today’s young professionals, tomorrow’s leaders.

The UT Dallas Young Professionals Employee Resource Group (ERG), founded in Fall 2017, is part of a new diversity and inclusion initiative led by Rosie Peterson, Director of Institutional Initiatives and Dr. George Fair, Vice President of the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement. Our purpose is to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment at UT Dallas for new and existing young professionals. We aim to do this by providing resources and programming centered around professional development, community engagement, and networking.


The Mission of the Young Professionals ERG is to be a strategic partner with UT Dallas to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion through collaboration. The Young Professionals ERG will advance the understanding of inclusion of employees with a diverse background, set of interests and/or goals. The vision, mission, goals, policies, and activities of the Young Professionals ERG are fully aligned with those of the University of Texas at Dallas’ mission, goals, and policies.
