UTD-ERC Fee Schedule for Data Access

To offset costs associated with operating the UTD-ERC, we charge the following fees for access to ERC data:

UTD-ERC Annual Data Access Fees (October 2023)

Non-UTD Affiliated Researcher	$15,000	5 (Faculty / Researchers / RAs)
Non-UTD Affiliated Student	$5,000	2 (1 Student / 1 Advisor)
UTD-Affiliated Faculty	$5,000	5 (Faculty / Researchers / RAs)
UTD-Affiliated Student	$500	2 (1 Student / 1 Advisor)
Supplemental Data Fee
Projects that require individual-level supplemental data to be linked by TEA will be charged a one-time fee of $5,000

The student fee rate only applies when ERC data are used to write a dissertation, a chapter of a dissertation, or a job market paper.
One member of a student’s dissertation committee may have access to ERC data to facilitate efficient advising but may not be listed as the first author on any resulting publications.
The UTD-ERC may, at its sole discretion, waive or modify access fees and policies.
