Health & Wellness Initiatives
Counseling Center
- The SCC has new Comet Chat offerings for students, including identity-specific brief consultations with counselors. Options include Comet Chat for Asian students, Black students, Latinx students, international students, LGBTQIA+ students, graduate students, student-athletes and chats related to disability identity/accessibility. General Comet Chat options are also available. Students may sign up online.
- Sign-ups for skills-based advanced workshops for students are now live. Workshop offerings include anxiety, depression, relationship skills, mindfulness and meditation or trans and gender diverse resiliency. Students can sign up on Calendly.
- The SCC is offering a new Asian and Asian American support group 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays. Students can sign up online.
- Sept. 5: Center for Students in Recovery group services resume.
- Sept. 10: Gaming night, 5:30-10 p.m., SU Mall.
Health Center
- A COVID-19 vaccine clinic is open to currently enrolled UTD students. Those interested should schedule an appointment.
Wellness Center
