Are you ready to inspire a child? Join us as we bring "real world" experiences into the classroom and show young students the importance of staying in school. We will help students develop skills to succeed in today’s world.
Lead fun, hands-on activities with students that focus on workforce readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Training, lesson plans and activity supplies provided by Junior Achievement.
The lessons provided to us by Junior Achievement were a blast to teach. We taught first through fourth grade students about different jobs and businesses through activities that allowed them to be creative, such as making their own restaurant and games that taught them about profits and losses in businesses. I could tell that the kids enjoyed a break from the usual subjects taught in school and I am confident that we inspired many students to become active members of their communities and to consider being entrepreneurs when they get older.
