Service Projects

Are you ready to inspire a child? Join us as we bring "real world" experience into the classroom and show young students the importance of staying in school. We will help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century.

Lead fun, hands-on activities with students that teach workforce readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Training, lesson plans and supply kits will be provided by JANY.

2016 Experience

The lessons provided to us by Junior Achievement were a blast to teach. We taught first through fourth grade students about different jobs and businesses through activities that allowed them to be creative, such as making their own restaurant and games that taught them about profits and losses in businesses. I could tell that the kids enjoyed a break from the usual subjects taught in school and I am confident that we inspired many students to become active members of their communities and to consider being entrepreneurs when they get older.
