In Oklahoma, we not only helped people, but we also connected with them. The thing that I will really remember and take away from this trip is the feeling of satisfaction I felt when the residents of Oklahoma would personally thank us after every job we did, whether it was painting a house or helping them out at a food bank. This was the first time where I volunteered and helped others, and this experience has left me hungry for more.
