Parking Policy

Returning Parking Permits

Anyone returning a parking permit must understand and agree to the UTD parking policy:

UPGRADES

  1. I understand and agree that to park on UT Dallas owned or leased property a valid parking permit or parking meter payment is required.
  2. I understand and agree that I must continue to park by my current permit privileges until I have completed the payment for my upgraded permit.
  3. I understand and agree that to upgrade to a higher permit level I must pay an additional out of pocket cost. Questions regarding the cost of upgrade should be referred to park@utdallas.edu before form submission.
  4. I understand and agree that my upgrade payment must be made within three (3) business days, or my upgrade request may be cancelled, and my current parking privileges will remain unchanged.

REFUNDS/PAYROLL CANCELLATIONS

  1. I understand and agree that to park on UT Dallas owned or leased property a valid parking permit or parking meter payment is required.
  2. I understand and agree that I am cancelling my current parking permit privileges and can no longer park on campus with the permit privileges I previously held. I UNDERSTAND THAT MY PERMIT MAY BE CANCELLED AS SOON AS THIS FORM IS SUBMITTED AND I WILL NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM UNTIL I AM PREPARED FOR MY PERMIT TO BE DEACTIVATED.
  3. I understand and agree that if I return to and park on the UTD campus I will need to have a current parking permit, or pay the parking meter, to avoid parking citations.
  4. I understand and agree that my refund amount will be determined by the date of purchase, the date of return, and the current proration schedule based on my University classification and by the fall or spring Census Day, if I am a student. Questions regarding refund amounts should be referred to park@utdallas.edu before form submission.
  5. I understand and agree that my refund amount will be refunded based on my original purchase method. Online purchases will be refunded back to the debit/credit card I used for my purchase. If more than six months has passed since my purchase, I understand that my refund will be posted into Orion/EZPay. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure my Orion account has been set up for eRefunds or has a current mailing address for a check to be issued and mailed.
