Adobe Creative Cloud

Request Adobe Software

  • Navigate to https://atlas.utdallas.edu/ (You will be redirected to UT Dallas’ single sign on service)
  • Enter Your NetID and password
  • Navigate to the Service Catalog
  • Select the Applications, Software, and Galaxy Services category
  • Select Software for Personal Install
  • Select Adobe Creative cloud license
  • A pop-up window will appear, allow the pop up to run
  • Once the process is complete you will see a Registration Successful page

Install Adobe Software

  • Navigate to http://adobe.com
  • Select Sign In, then select Sign In with an Enterprise ID
  • Enter Your [email protected] email address
  • Select Sign In with an Enterprise ID
  • You will be directed to the UT Dallas SSO webpage
  • Enter Your NetID and password
  • Select Login, then select Desktop Downloads
  • Select the necessary Applications download and run the installers

Atlas User Guide

The Atlas Portal is a single web user interface that faculty, students and staff can submit technology help requests, report outages, request a service through our service catalog and access an extensive knowledge base.

You will see the main search field for the Knowledge Base, categories in the middle and helpful links near the top of the webpage.

Help Requests

  • Select Get Help
  • Select the applicable scope
  • Enter detailed specifics of the issue, then select Submit

Service Catalog

  • Select the Service Catalog
  • Select the Category you are looking for
  • Select Request This Service if applicable

Install on Mac OS X

Note: If you are prompted with a Custom Install, check only VPN.

Install on Windows 10

Configure on Desktop – Mac OS X and Windows 10

  • Launch the AnyConnect application
  • Enter https://vpn.utdallas.edu in the text box then select Connect
  • Establishing a connection requires that you have already setup NetIDplus with Duo
  • Fill out settings as follows:
    • Group: UTD VPN Users
    • Username: NetID
    • Password Your NetID password
    • Second Password: Your NetIDplus password (PIN)
    • Alternatively, enter one of the following as the second password:
      • Push sends a request to your phone through the DUO app
      • Phone calls the phone linked to your account for verification
      • SMS sends a text message with usable PINs
  • Select OK, Read and Accept the Terms of use

Configure on Mobile – Apple iOS

  • Launch the AnyConnect app by Cisco
  • Choose Connections and select Add VPN Connection…
  • Enter the following into the information fields:
    • Name: UTD VPN,  Server Address: vpn.utdallas.edu
  • Tap Save, then activate the slider next to AnyConnect VPN
  • Enter the following into the information fields:
    • Username: Your NetID
    • Password: Your password
    • NetIDplus your NetIDplus password (PIN)
    • Alternatively, enter one of the following as the second password:
      • Push sends a request to your phone through the DUO app
      • Phone calls the phone linked to your account for verification
      • SMS sends a text message with usable PINs
  • Tap Connect, then Accept, then OK

Configure on Mobile – Android

  • Launch the AnyConnect app by Cisco, then select Connections and select Add VPN Connection
  • Enter the following into the information fields:
    • Name: UTD VPN,  Server Address: vpn.utdallas.edu
  • Tap Done, then activate the slider next to AnyConnect VPN on the main page
  • Enter the following into the information fields:
    • Username: Your NetID
    • Password: Your password
    • NetIDplus your NetIDplus password (PIN)
    • Alternatively, enter one of the following as the second password:
      • Push sends a request to your phone through the DUO app
      • Phone calls the phone linked to your account for verification
      • SMS sends a text message with usable PINs
  • Tap Connect, then Accept, then OK

CometNet

Join on Mac OS X

  • Select the Wifi icon in the Menu Bar
  • Select Open Network Preferences, then select Wi-Fi
  • Select CometNet
  • Enter your NetID and Password
  • Mode: Automatic
  • In the Verify Certificate panel, select Continue
  • You are now connected to CometNet

Join on Windows 10

  • Navigate to the Windows icon on the screen
  • Select Settings, select the Network & Internet category icon
  • Select Wi-Fi,then select CometNet
  • Check the box to Connect Automatically, then select Connect
  • Enter your NetID and Password, then select OK
  • You are now connected to CometNet

Join on iOS

  • Tap the Settings icon
  • Tap Wi-Fi, select CometNet in the list of available networks
  • Enter your NetID and Password (Modeset to Automatic)
  • Tap Accept in the Certificate notice that appears
  • You are now connected to CometNet

Join on Android

  • Open the Settings menu and select Wi-Fi
  • On your list of available wireless networks on the Wi-Fi menu, select CometNet
  • Set EAP method to PEAP
  • Set Phase 2 Authentication to MSCHAPV2
  • Set CA certificate to Do not validate
  • Under Identity enter in your NetID and Password
  • Select Connect
  • You are now connected to CometNet

DUO

Install DUO App

  • Launch the App Store and search for DUO Mobile and download.

Configure DUO App

Note: NetIDplus configuration should be performed on a computer.
  • Navigate to netid.utdallas.edu
  • Select NetIDplus Enrollment
  • Enter your NetID and password
  • Enter your UTD ID, then birthdate, then Submit
  • Select Add New Device, then select Passcode
  • Enter SMS code received
  • Select Mobile Phone and Continue
  • Select type of phone and Continue
  • Select I have Duo Mobile Installed
  • Launch DUO Mobile app
  • Scan the personalized QR code
  • The account is now setup in Duo Mobile

Office 365

Setup on Mac OS X

  • Launch Outlook then select Preferences from the File menu, select Accounts
  • Select Add Email Account
  • Enter your [email protected] email address and Continue
  • Username: your NetID and Password
  • Select Add Account, then select Done

Setup on Windows 10

  • Launch Outlook
  • Select the File tab, select Info, then select + Add Account
  • Enter your Name
  • Enter your [email protected] email address and Password
  • Select Next, then select Finish

Setup on Apple iOS

  • Tap the Settings app, then Accounts & Passwords, then Add Account, then Microsoft Exchange
  • Complete the Account Information fields using the info below and tap Next

    • Email: Enter Your [email protected] email address
    • Password:Enter your NetID password
    • Description: Enter “Office 365”
  • Enter your full UTD email address (i.e., [email protected]) in the Username field and tap Next
  • Note: If prompted for server information, please enter: outlook.office365.com
  • Enable all Categories to sync your Office 365 data and Save

Setup on Android

  • Navigate to Settings, select Accounts then select + Add account, then select Microsoft Exchange
  • Enter in your [email protected] email address then select > then enter in your NetID Password
  • Enter the Account information fields using the information below then select >

    • Server: outlook.office365.com
    • Port: 443
    • Security Type: SSL/TLS
  • Select OK for Remote security administration, then Select your preferences for the Account options
  • Enter “Office 365” for the Email account then select >

Install on Desktop – Mac OS X and Windows 10

  • Navigate to http://portal.office365.com
  • Sign in with your [email protected] email address and password
  • Select Install Office Apps, then select Office 365
  • Once downloaded, open and run the installer
  • When prompted sign into your Microsoft account using your NetID and password
