Nobel Laureate Dr. Alan MacDiarmid to Present First Lecture in Memorial Series Honoring Former Student

Dr. Alan MacDiarmid, the 2000 Nobel Laureate in chemistry and occupant of the James Von Ehr Distinguished Chair in Science and Technology at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), will present the first lecture in the newly created Frank Huang Memorial Lecture Series, at 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, in the Galaxy Room of the Student Union on the UTD campus. MacDiarmid's lecture, entitled "From Plastics to Nanotechnology - Materials for the 21st Century," is free and open to the public.
