Story Focused On Job Cuts In Local Telecom Industry
The University of Texas at Dallas and Dr. William P. Osborne, dean of UT Dallas’ Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science, were featured in a front-page story in The New York Times on Sunday, Aug. 5. The story focused on job cuts in the telecom industry in the Dallas area.
Dr. Osborne was quoted twice in the story, and UT Dallas was described as one of the nation’s “largest producers of computer science graduates.”
The Sunday New York Times has a circulation of more than 1.6 million.
