The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) will present Baroque, Classic and Modern: An Evening of Chamber Music featuring UTD’s Musica Nova ensemble on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. in the Jonsson Performance Hall on campus.

Directed by UTD’s composer-in-residence, Robert Xavier Rodríguez, the free concert will feature UTD graduate and undergraduate students along with pianist Jeff Lankov and guitarist Mitch Weverka. The program will include Bach’s Trio Sonata in G, BWV 1038, Mozart’s Sonata in D, K. 427, Mozart’s Piano Trio in C, K. 548, songs and piano preludes by George Gershwin, and the Dallas premiere of Rodríguez’ Il Lamento di Tristano.
