The Office of Student Life at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) will host a free concert featuring Zac Maloy, with opening acts Evamore and South FM, on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m.

Zac Maloy, former lead singer of The Nixons, recently released his solo debut album, Life, on Buddy Records. The first single from the album, “Early Morning Phone Call,” has received airplay on various local Dallas/Fort Worth radio stations.

Evamore’s self-titled debut album, as well as South FM’s first album, Drama Kids, was released earlier this year. Both bands are best known for their performances at venues in Dallas’ Deep Ellum and are slated to appear at the North Texas New Music Festival 2002 in November.

The concert is open to the public and will take place on the UTD campus in the Conference Center Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. and South FM will take the stage at 8 p.m., followed by Evamore and Zac Maloy. Advance passes are available by calling (972) 883-6438. Passes also will be available at the door. For more information, please call (972) 883-6438 or e-mail suaab@utdallas.edu.
