The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) will present Personals, a musical comedy review that takes a satirical look at dating services and relationships in an impersonal age, on April 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 in the University Theatre on campus. The work was written by David Crane, Seth Friedman and Marta Kauffman, creators of the television show “Friends,” with music by William K. Dreskin, Joel Phillip Friedman, Seth Friedman, Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors), Stephen Schwartz (Godspell) and Michael Skloff .

The UTD production, which includes adult language and content, will be directed by UTD faculty member Mary Medrick and will feature choreography by Densil Adams. Video and other special effects will make for a contemporary multi-media treatment of the work.

Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 8 p.m., Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are free to anyone with a UTD photo identification and $10 for the general public.
