Financial Support
Graduate Teaching Assistantships are available to students admitted to the Ph.D. degree program, with nationally competitive stipends. Tuition (9 credit hours per term) and most fees for Graduate Teaching Assistants are covered in a separate award. For applicants desiring a Graduate Teaching Assistantship, complete applications should be received by January 15 for first-round consideration. Advanced Ph.D. students in our program also qualify for Graduate Research Assistantships available on some faculty members research grants.
