Spring into the New Semester With McDermott Library Workshops and Tours

As you dive into the first semester of 2020, learn what kinds of resources and services your campus library has to help you achieve academic success.

The Eugene McDermott Library offers many tours to show you what’s available and workshops to give you hands-on learning to complement your classroom experience and enhance your research.

Besides introducing tools and skills not found in the classroom, the library’s workshops give you the opportunity to make valuable connections with library staff, fellow students and faculty and help improve your academic experience.

The library’s instruction librarians regularly offer short workshops that teach relevant skills and encourage critical thinking about the research process. This spring’s series runs through May 2020; the workshops are short and are held in the library’s Instruction Room: MC 2.524.

Take a look at Spring 2020 workshops and tours below. For any questions, email Library Instruction Services.
