Get a Leg Up On Your Research With McDermott Library’s Workshops

With Fall 2019 semester in full swing, now is a great time to learn what kinds of resources and services your campus library has to offer. The Eugene McDermott Library offers many tours to show you what’s available and workshops to give you hands-on learning to complement your classroom experience and enhance your research.

Besides introducing tools and skills not found in the classroom, the library’s workshops give you the opportunity to make valuable connections with library staff, fellow students and faculty and help improve your academic experience.

The library’s Instruction librarians regularly offer short workshops that teach relevant skills and encourage critical thinking about the research process. This fall’s series runs through November 2019; the workshops are short (from 3 to 4 p.m.) and are held in the library’s Instruction Room: MC 2.524.

Take a look at the workshops and tours listed below and sign up for one today!
