The Latino Faculty and Staff Association at UT Dallas has the following committees that UT Dallas Faculty and Staff can join to get more engaged in the association.  To join a main committee, fill out our sign-up form.  To join a semester event or initiative committee, contact the lead LFSA member.

Main Committees

  • Cafécito and Conversations Committee: This committee is responsible for identifying, planning, and coordinating social and community service events/opportunities for the campus and community at large.
  • Professional Development Committee: The committee is responsible for creating engagement opportunities based on the personal and professional development needs of our community. Additionally, an opportunity for new employees to connect with current employees to nurture the professional and socio-personal development of UTD’s Latino/x/e employees
  • Retención and Recruiting Committee: This committee is responsible for connecting and coordinating activities for the benefit of each specific outreach of staff, faculty, and facilities management members (three focus groups).
