To get started, choose from the options above.

Remove a Single Entry

  • Open Outlook.
  • Start a new email.
  • Type the first few characters of the entry you wish to remove.
  • Once the auto-complete bubble appears with the bad entry, stop typing.
  • Click the ‘x’ next to the entry in the bubble to remove it.

Clear the Entire Auto-Complete List

Step 1

  • Open Outlook.
  • Click File.
  • Click Options.
  • This opens the Outlook Options window.

Step 2

  • Click Mail in the left panel.
  • In the right panel, scroll down to the section titled Send Messages.
  • Click Empty Auto-Complete List.

Step 3

  • Now go to the Send/Receive Tab.
  • Click on the Send/Receive Groups drop-down menu.
  • Click Download Address Book.

Step 4

  • Check the box for Download changes since last send/receive.
  • Click OK to finish.
