Participate in Pride Month Events

The Galerstein Gender Center invites you to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community by participating in Pride Month events this June.

Crow Museum Pride Panel

For many Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, coming out is a lifelong process that can require a different approach because of cultural norms or traditions that emphasize duty to family and community. This can make the coming out process more complex to navigate.

The Pride Panel, titled “Coming Out: Living Authentically as LGBTQ+ Asian and Pacific Islander Americans by Human Rights Campaign Foundation,” will be presented from 7-8 p.m., Friday, June 17, at the Crow Museum of Asian Art. The program is part of the Dallas Arts District Pride Block Party.

Tea and snacks will be provided during the discussion. Space is limited; email [email protected] to reserve your spot. Volunteers for the event are needed from 5:30-11 p.m. Visit the Crow Museum signup page to register.
