Check Out Several New Features on My UT Benefits Site
The Office of Human Resources reminds employees of improvements to the My UT Benefits website. An email with login instructions and details on the changes was sent to benefits-eligible employees on March 26. To ensure successful login to My UT Benefits, clear the cache of your browser by deleting browsing history and temporary internet files.
Some features of the revamped site include:
- New look and feel.
- Clear and concise information about your benefits.
- View your current coverage.
- Various resources that explain your coverage.
- Ability to change coverage online for qualified life events (i.e. birth, marriage, divorce) within 31 days of the event date.
- Select your benefits online during Annual Enrollment in July.
Additional items you may need to know:
- Beginning April 1, your paycheck stub will have better descriptions of your benefit plan and adjustment on your benefit deductions, if applicable. Please review your paycheck and email [email protected] if there are discrepancies.
- Some employees may see “Imputed Income due to Spouse Life coverage” as required by the IRS.
- The beneficiary(ies) you have designated on the old My UT Benefits site are not shown on the new site. However, they will remain in effect until you make changes to the new system.
- Other features and enhancements are currently in development (e.g., online evidence of insurability and a mobile app).
HR is excited to bring this change to improve your benefits experience. Feel free to contact the HR-Benefits Office via email at [email protected] if you have questions or comments.
