New Employee Resources

As a new employee you will need to know how to access online employment information and complete your new hire documents. Please see below for more details.

Accessing Galaxy

After retrieving your UTD NetID, you may access the New Employee DayOne folder on Galaxy, the online self-service portal. To access Galaxy, go to and enter your UTD NetID and password. If you have not retrieved your NetID, please refer to your welcome email.

Once on Galaxy, under My Menu you will find the New Employee DayOne folder which has the required forms available for you to complete prior to your first day.

You will be contacted directly by an Employment Specialist to schedule an appointment for DayOne. The Employment Specialist will schedule a meeting time and provide you with parking information.
