Sungkyunkwan University Scholarship

Description:

All applicants must be full-time undergraduate students majoring in any degree program in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, who demonstrate strong academic abilities.  The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis by a committee duly appointed by the Dean of the School of Natural Science & Mathematics at UT Dallas. Only current UT Dallas students or transfers may apply for this award.

  1. Preference may be given to students with a higher GPA on UT Dallas transcripts. This criterion will not be applied to new students in their first semesters.
  2. Preference may be given to students who have received all or part of their preparatory education in the country of Korea or have some other connection to or interest in Korea.
  3. Preference may be given to students who are fluent in the Korean language.
  4. Candidates who received the award in prior years are eligible to reapply and must submit their latest credentials and fully completed application for consideration.
  5. Recipients will be required to sign a release form, in accordance with the Family Education and Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) allowing UT Dallas to use application materials for scholarship purposes.

  1. A one page narrative.
  2. An unofficial transcript.
