Anton Hales Endowed Fellowship in Geophysics

Description:

All applicants must be enrolled as Ph.D. students in Geophysics. Applicants must be enrolled in at least nine graduate hours and be in good standing with the Department of Geosciences. The fellowship includes tuition and fees for up to 12 hours of study each long semester and a travel allowance of $500 per year to allow the student to attend scientific meetings in geophysics/geology in order to interact with professional scientists and to learn the latest research results in his or her specialty. The fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis by a committee including the Department Head, the graduate advisor, and Geophysics faculty. Only current UT Dallas students or transfers may apply for this award.
