Vinni Anandham

Hometown: Hutto, Texas
Major: Political Science

Hi! My name is Vinni Anandham, and I’m a proud EPPS student studying political science. I come from the town of hippos’ - Hutto, TX! Fun fact: We’re the only hippos in the entire nation! In high school I was accepted in an early college program called Legacy, which let me graduate with my associates degree. At Legacy I led the Community Outreach Club because I love to help others in our community, and anything is always more fun to do with friends! On campus, I work in the President’s Office as a student aid, and am a student mentor for the HBI Student Coaching Program. In my free time I love reading (historical or political books), hanging out with friends, dancing, meeting new people, and shopping!

Blake Eaton

Hometown: San Diego, California
Major: Political Science

Hello, all! My name is Blake Eaton. I'm a San Diegan born and raised, and the only reason I'm here at UTD is because I absolutely love this school. As a freshman political science major, I've taken every opportunity to dive into UTD's community. I am Vice President and co-founder of Whoosh the Vote as well as a member of the UTD Mock Trial and Model United Nations teams. I spend whatever free time I have at the gym, reading the news, or writing. I'm a pre-law student, a political junkie, and a brony, but more than anything, I want to experience as much as possible as quickly as possible, and I plan to do just that in my time at UTD.

Colton Hattersley

Hometown: Portland, Texas
Major: Political Science

Hey everyone, my name is Colton Hattersley! I hail from the small town of Portland, TX, which is about fifteen minutes away from Corpus Christi. I am a freshman Political Science major and am planning to attend law school following graduation. I am a Terry Scholar and am involved in UTD's Mock Trial team, which is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Being raised near the ocean, I love any activities involving water - swimming, kneeboarding, canoeing, water skiing, etc. - but also love listening to music, writing and reading poetry and fiction novels, and baking desserts.

Yusof Nazari

Hometown: Arkansas
Major: Political Science

Hello everyone! My name is Yusof Nazari. I was born on a farm in Arkansas, and grew up as a cowboy, but I moved to Dallas at a pretty young age. I'm a freshman EPPS student and a Political Science major, involved in the Pre-Law Society, RadioUTD, and too many other organizations to list! My free time is spent reading up on music and world news, as well as collecting books and records. My time at UTD will be spent looking for every possible venue to experience art, culture and politics that this great school has to bring.

Daniel Del Rosario

Hometown: Southlake, Texas
Major: Economics

Hi! My name is Daniel Del Rosario. I'm a freshmen studying Economics at UTD. I come from Southlake, TX, an average sized town sandwiched between Dallas and Fort Worth. Even though I'm technically from the area, I still find plenty of new things to do in Dallas! I'm mainly involved in campus through FOCUS, Fellowship Of Christian University Students, and I'm applying to be a PA for the new EPPS Social Science LLC next year. I usually spend my free time commuting to Dallas via the DART looking for new things to do, hitting the rock wall, or hanging out with my friends. I plan to make the most of my time here at UTD, working towards my dream law school and trying to make new traditions in a blooming university.

Hope Steffensen

Hometown: Kenai, Alaska
Major: Political Science

Hi, my name is Hope Steffensen. I am a political science major. I was born and raised in Kenai, Alaska, the "King Salmon Capital of the World." Contrary to popular belief, everything is not bigger in Texas! Alaska has bigger mountains, larger lakes, more coastline, etc. I'll stop now before I offend someone! Here on campus I'm in the CV Honors Program and on the Model United Nations Team. I am also active in Fellowship of Christian University Students. I enjoy anything to do with law or politics, and I plan on becoming an attorney in the future. In my free time I go jogging or work out at the gym. I also like to read my Bible and follow anything online that has to do with Disney characters, Disney outfits or Disney vacations.
