Creating a Brighter Tomorrow
Foundations for Success
A young university with a bright future. UT Dallas counts on its alumni and friends to help realize its vision as a leading public research institution.
Maintaining Excellence
UT Dallas’ ever-expanding campus community requires the complementary development of new financial and physical resources to ensure continued success. Thanks to a generous grant of land from the founders and the diligent management of University’s endowment, UT Dallas is well-positioned to accommodate the growing needs of its faculty, students and staff.
The ongoing generosity of alumni, friends and corporate partners makes UT Dallas less dependent on income from enrollment, which in turn allows the University to offer students one of the nation’s best values in higher education. Gifts of any size help address the areas of greatest need, including financial aid, research support, campus construction and programmatic aid. The creation of new endowments ensures the University’s long-term stability and provides a lasting impact that will be felt for generations.
Ensuring a Sustainable, Rewarding Campus Environment
UT Dallas strives to foster a culture that supports diversity and sustainability. A diversity of people, ideas and perspectives is crucial to a thriving academic environment, and a commitment to sustainability ensures that the University’s mission to create positive change in the world will be carried out in spaces that reflect this value.
Donor support has played an integral role in expanding access to UT Dallas for students from all backgrounds. With over 70 percent of students receiving financial aid, scholarships and fellowships, discretionary funding make an incredible difference in the lives of many students. Increased support in these areas will serve to enrich the experience of all students by creating a truly global community for the best and brightest minds.
UT Dallas’ campus is home to six LEED-certified green buildings. These projects were made possible through the generous support of University donors. As UT Dallas grows, the future of its campus and the environment will continue to rely on this support to create cutting-edge, sustainable academic and resource facilities.
