After completing two master’s degrees in the Naveen Jindal School of Management, Tim Reazor MBA’18, MS’19 was able to make his dream of owning his own business a reality in 2018. The result is Fifth & Cherry, a premium cutting board company based in Rockwall, Texas.

Lucas Rodriguez MS’14, PhD’16 developed the business plan for CerSci Therapeutics, a biotech startup launched by two UT Dallas faculty members, which was recently sold to a large pharmaceutical company for $52.5 million.
In his annual State of the University address, University of Texas at Dallas President Richard C. Benson said that as the University has responded to the “staggering” events of 2020, it also has kept a focus on its mission to be one of the nation’s best public research universities.
