Community Engagement

UT Dallas Chess Team members volunteer through outreach programs in community school districts. Volunteer service hours are an integral part of scholarship requirements.

If you have a large venue that might require master-level players, email Jim Stallings, director of the UT Dallas Chess Program. Instruction by team members at individual schools is not feasible due to the large number of area schools. To request student tutors, visit the UT Dallas Career Center.

If you’d like to receive news about tournaments and meetings sponsored by UT Dallas, please email Jim Stallings.
