Asia Center

The UT Dallas Asia Center is unprecedented. We are the first and only U.S. center of our kind to integrate science, technology, engineering, culture and commerce to facilitate every kind of meaningful connection with all the diverse regions of Asia. As our global economy evolves ever faster, the Asia Center is poised to create a supportive environment for partnerships that benefit all participants.

The connections that form both the mission and the vision of the Asia Center take many forms. They include degree programs like an interdisciplinary minor in Asian Studies and a Global Leadership Executive MBA. We have established Texas' first Confucius Institute to promote greater understanding of Chinese culture, history and languages. We are partnering in the sponsorship of major conferences, cultural events, seminars and symposia, and we are fostering student and faculty exchange programs.

A hub for global opportunity

Investment in UT Dallas and the Asia Center is fundamental to the region's future economic development. We must build the Asia Center Endowment to provide permanent support for faculty, scholars and professionals to advance their research and establish connections with people and institutions.

Through donor-designed endowments, we will create new and customized areas of focus. A distinguished lecture series will bring the best new ideas and the most dynamic thinkers and educators to UT Dallas. Through chairs, professorships, scholarships and fellowships, we will attract outstanding internationally focused scholars and offer educational opportunities aimed at increasing students' regional knowledge and global competence.

Invest in the future

The Asia Center serves as an educational hub for North Texas by promoting educational options, advanced research, and innovative community outreach programming. With your support, we can seize the opportunities that will shape our future.
