This training provides basic safety awareness in the use of golf carts and utility carts. You are required to take this training if you need to transport visitors in University-owned carts as part of your job, or you plan to operate a golf cart during the UT Dallas Homecoming Parade. This training is limited to 10 people per class.

24th Annual UT Dallas Scholarship Tournament Friday, Apr 28

The 24th Annual UT Dallas Scholarship Tournament is set for Friday, April 28, at Firewheel Golf Park in Garland. Proceeds benefit the Betty and Gifford Johnson Graduate, Patti Henry-Pinch Undergraduate, and Academic Bridge scholarship endowments.

The scholarships help undergraduates with research and travel expenses, allow graduate students to present their work at national conferences and help smooth the transition for first-generation college students. Over the years, tournament proceeds have helped raise the value of these endowments to over $520,000. Faculty and staff members are invited to play. Freedom from Smoking Pilot Class Tuesday, Apr 18 (TBA) -

The Office of Administration and University Wellness Committee will host a free, on-campus tobacco cessation pilot class from April 18 to May 30. Each class will be held from 1-3 p.m. in SG 1.216 (EH&S Training Room). The seven-week, eight-session class follows the American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking cessation program to help participants end their smoking habits.
