In this talk, Dr. Park will present her recent work on how stereotypically masculine cues in STEM environments influence women’s social identitythreat in STEM domains.

About Dr. Park:

Dr. Jiyoung Park is an Assistant Professor in School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research focuses on examininghow socio-cultural conditions defined by various macro-level variables, including national culture, social status, race, and gender, shapeemotional processingand its downstream consequences on health and well-being.
