"Macrophages and Innate Immune dysregulation in Cystic Fibrosis"

The Department of Biological Sciences is pleased to announce the upcoming seminar and invite you to join us on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in RL 3.204.  Our distinguished guest speaker will be Dr. Emanuela Bruscia from Yale University.  The title of her presentation will be "Macrophages and Innate Immune dysregulation in Cystic Fibrosis". Her research focuses on characterizing the molecular mechanisms that underlie the development of inflammatory lung diseases. She will discuss potential molecular mechanisms linking loss of CFTR, the gene that when mutated causes CF, and MΦ dysfunction.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served at 2:45 p.m. before the seminar in RL 3.204.
