UT Dallas' DiversAbility Summit

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a campaign that aims to raise awareness of disability employment issues and celebrate the contributions of America's workers with disabilities. For the past five years, the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement has been committed to providing a platform for discussion and connecting the UT Dallas community with resources on and off campus.

This year’s theme is “Finding the Right Words: Conversations Around Mental Health.” In partnership with the Office of Student AccessAbility and the University Career Center, the ODCE will host a resource fair where students can explore mental health resources available to them and connect with companies looking to recruit diverse talent. The following presentation will offer the tools necessary for recognizing the signs and symptoms of various mental health issues as well as the confidence and skills necessary for tackling stigma-free mental health conversations.
