Undergraduate Advising

Would you like to graduate in four years? Do you want to know exactly what courses to take and the appropriate time to take them? If so, you've come to the right place.

The Undergraduate Academic Advising Office in the Department of Biological Sciences plays a major role in your educational and professional advancement. There, you can get help developing your study skills, receive academic advice and assistance registering for classes each semester.

As an incoming student, you will meet with your own undergraduate advisor, and faculty advisor Dennis Miller, PhD, to develop your degree plan.

Meeting regularly with your advisor can be a great benefit when it comes to plotting course work for your specific educational goals. It is valuable to know where you are in the matriculation process.

Advisors also help students on academic probation and scholars falling behind on minimum requirements to get back on the right track.

Please refer to the Undergraduate Advising website to find out your assigned advisor.
