Coastlines: Images of Land and Sea

Watch Video Play online

This original sound design for a painting by Jean Metzinger was created by UT Dallas student Roxanne Minnish. It was part of a multilayer sound installation in the Dallas Museum of Art exhibition Coastlines: Images of Land and Sea, an exhibition of over 50 paintings, photographs, and works on paper, explored how visual artists of the modern period (1850–present) have represented coastal landscapes.

The Coastlines sound installation was created by graduate students and faculty in the Arts and Technology program, in collaboration with undergraduate students in the School of Information and Communication and Media Engineering at the Université du Sud Toulon-Var (USTV), in Toulon, France.
