The Wilcox Space

John Wilcox, Untitled: Paradise, 1989, acrylic on canvas, 96 x 96 inches

The Wilcox Space, at the heart of Exposition Park in Dallas, is the former studio of the painter John Wilcox (1954-2012) and a site for the exhibition, study, and documentation of the work of painters whose practices, like Wilcox’s, bring together the craft of painting and exploration of the nature of the medium itself.

Since 2013, the O’Donnell Institute has collaborated with The Wilcox Space to show Wilcox’s paintings and works on paper and to publish catalogues that document his career. View installations and catalogues of John Wilcox's work at The Wilcox Space and visit an online database of his work.
