Bio
Megan Refice originally hails from the Midwest and has a B.A. in English and history from the University of Texas at Austin. Before pursuing her degree in English, she had planned on a career in environmental science. Refice is particularly interested in printmaking and the arts of the book, from old illuminated manuscripts to children’s books. Her other art interests include woman surrealists (in particular the group that emigrated from Europe to Mexico around WWII), photography, the Harlem Renaissance, German Expressionism, and the relationship of art and politics.
