Bio

James “Austin” Bailey is currently working on his MA in art history from the Edith O’Donnell Institute at the University of Texas at Dallas. Bailey was born and raised in the DFW area and has a BA in history from the University of Texas at Arlington. His research interests include German Expressionism and, through UT Dallas coursework, Texas art and its multifaceted history. His current research explores lineages of master-apprentice relationships within the history of modernism.
