What has surprised you most about yourself since starting at UTD? My personal and professional growth has surprised me the most since starting UT Dallas. I was amazed at the leadership opportunities on campus and the community that wants you to be the best version of yourself. I want to continue being a role model to students on campus but also an alumna that makes an impact after graduation.
One thing you HAD to bring with you to college: Since I commute, my car! But I did have to bring adaptability, since I knew I wouldn’t always be on campus, I found that it was important to shift my schedule around so I was able to take advantage of all the different outlets UT Dallas gives students to connect.
Why did you become a Student Ambassador? After working with incoming students for two years through the Orientation Leader Program, I felt a calling to serve the University’s alumni and donors. I was drawn to the confidence and professionalism of the ambassadors and knew I wanted to be a part of this prestigious group.
Plans after graduation: I will be finishing my Masters of Business Administration concentrating in Leadership in Organizations. I would like to move into a full-time role as University Campus Recruiter, Human Resources Consultant, or work in a corporate Training and Development team!
