Standardized test scores must be official and reported directly by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). They should be sent to The University of Texas at Dallas, code 6897.
Each degree program sets its own criteria for what constitutes a satisfactory score and students should confer with the graduate adviser for each degree program to determine test score requirements. Scores must not be more than 5 years old.
The GMAT or GRE scores are not the sole criterion for making an admission decision or terminating consideration of an application.
The GRE revised General Test is required for admission to the following schools:
- School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences
- School of Economic, Political, and Policy Sciences
- Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science
- School of Interdisciplinary Studies
- School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or GRE is required for admission to the Naveen Jindal School of Management.
A GRE or GMAT score is not required for admission to the School of Arts & Humanities and School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication.
Upload digital copies of your unofficial test scores using the online graduate application, then mail the official scores after admission to avoid processing delays. If you cannot send us your official documents electronically, they should be mailed to our mailing address in a sealed envelope:
