Dr. Yongwan Chun is a faculty member in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences (previously, Social Sciences) at UT-Dallas in Geospatial Information Sciences. He teaches courses about GIS application development, Geovisualization, and spatial statistics. His primary areas of research interest are in GISciences, spatial statistics, quantitative spatial analysis, and spatial interaction.
