Pre-synaptic facilitation at the frog neuromuscular junction. The activity
of a frog sartorius muscle cell is recorded in normal Ringer's solution (Vm
= -90 mV). The motor end plate currents are evoked by repetitive
stimulations of the motor nerve. The average current intensity in response
to the response to the first stimulation is 0.5 ľA. This amplitude
gradually rises following second and third stimulations.
