Shyam Karrah has been a Senior Lecturer and a Graduate
Advisor in the Computer Science Department at UTD since fall 2000. Prior to
joining UTD, Mr. Karrah taught for 6 years in the CS department at New Mexico
Junior College and was a dept chair at NMJC from
1998 to 2000. Mr. Karrah received the Excellence in Advisement Award for the
2004-2005 school year. He is currently the Director
of Graduate Studies in the computer science department helping with graduate
admissions, advising and recruitment.
