The atmosphere (air) is made up of two principle elements: nitrogen and oxygen.
The hydrosphere (water) is made up of two principle elements: oxygen and hydrogen.
The lithosphere (earth) is made up of four principle elements: oxygen, silicon, aluminum and carbon. The deeper into the lithosphere you go, the hotter it gets; the deepest drilled hole is 5 miles deep.
