Summary and conclusions:
Summary and conclusions:
The sheath resistance depends critically on the electron density in argon, helium and nitrogen.
The sheath resistance as a function of the electron density:
decreases as the 2/3 power of the electron density
is relatively independent of the gas.
is relatively independent of the pressure.
