Research contemporary new media artists and develop a presentation on a chosen artist or artist group. Explore the list below; it is offered as a sampling of various artists and their work. You are not limited to this list.
The presentation will include biographical information on the artist or artists and description of work and artist intentions. Examples of the artist's work can be supplied through digital imagery and or links to internet access.
Presentation format may vary according to preference: PowerPoint, Word document, web documents, etc.

Michael Bell-Smith, video artist who works with a lot of appropriated video. He'll have a video in And/Or Gallery's December group show

Kristin Lucas will show at And/Or Gallery probably in February. She works with video and digital photo manipulation.

The JODI collective is one of the earliest net artists. And/Or Gallery showed them earlier this year and was one of the first commercial galleries to give them a show. Very conceptual and challenging, but fantastic artists.

Peter Luning is a European artist who has made conceptual software-art Photoshop plugins.
