    Hua Bao received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Erik Jonsson School of Engineering & Computer Science, University of Texas at Dallas in December 2010. Supported by Jonsson School Distinguished Research Fellowship during his Ph.D. study, he conducted research in the area of digital signal processing on acoustic / audio / speech signal as a member of the Statistical Signal Processing Research Lab and the Acoustic Research Lab. From 2003 to 2006, he was working as a software engineer in Motorola on embedded system development, with focus on the implementation of mobile applications, software / hardware interface, device drivers and signaling of wireless communications, etc. In 2009, he worked as an intern in Rockwell Collins on DSP related project.
