Yuanqin (David) Zhu earned his B.S. in Organic Chemistry from Nanchang University in 2001, and developed his expertise in blocking and deblocking reactions of isocyanates for his MS research. He earned his Ph. D. in Chemistry from Donghua University in 2007, with focus on the design, synthesis and characterization of perfluorinated poly(aryl ether). He joined the Ferraris group in September 2007 as a post-doc on PEM fuel cells.
