School Life
I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on October 31st, 1988. I was an energetic child with a love for rock and roll and Disney movies. When I turned three years old, my family moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, and my younger sister was born about one year later, in November 1992. I attended grade school at John D. Spicer Elementary, where I was percieved as a funny kid with a knack for writing silly and colorful stories. When the time came to attend middle school, I was finally introduced to proper music via band. In my school district, the education was rather sub-par, but the fine arts were some of the best in the region. I chose the clarinet as my instrument, and I stayed with it for the next seven years, and I still play today.
I wasn't a particularly bright student, though I was in the top third of my class. I prided myself on having more common sense than the people around me, more often on the giving end of advice rather than the recieving end.
Personal Life
I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I am majoring in Arts and Technology. I'm focusing mostly on core classes now, but I plan to take 3D modeling and animation in later semesters.
I enjoy my free time whether I'm with friends or not, though I prefer being with other people most of the time. As might be expected of a college student, I'm an avid video game player. I have a passion for mechanical things, be they weapons, cars, airplanes, spaceships, or robots. I think it's amazing how thousands of parts can perform in perfect harmony and make the device function correctly.
I think that you can learn a little about someone's personality by looking at their music collection. By looking at the kind of music I listen to, chances are you'd describe me as eclectic. Name a genre of music, and chances are I have at least one example of it on my iPod. I tend to listen to music depending on my mood. When working, I listen to classical music; when i'm driving I listen to rock, metal, or techno music; when relaxing I listen to ambient sounds (waterfalls and the like). There's no one genre I think I can claim as my favorite.
