Samsung Experiences

Established Samsung Nano/Bio Business Development Team, developed a long-term business strategy and built an organization of >100 people. Scope of work involved development of DNA chip, Protein chip, micro-PCR, readers and software for diagnostic applications. Established a multi-million dollar/3-yr joint development contract with a leading bio-venture company in the US.  Facilitated to establish an e-health lab at SAIT.

Led and managed a Chemical Sector that consisted of Polymer lab, Energy lab, Catalysis lab and Organic Synthesis lab.  Major product developments included OLED, POF, secondary rechargeable battery, fuel cell, ITO target, 1,3, propanediol and high melting temperature Polystyrene materials.  Several projects were successfully transferred to Mfg for commercialization.  Established a Biochip project, the first in Korea. Started a matrix organization management system for better resource utilization, training and productivity improvement.
