| BACKGROUND | |||||
|
Harry was born in Mississagua, Ontario, outside of Toronto in 1988. So his dad could pursue a new career, he and his folks moved to Dallas in 1992. Harry did well in school and was a a popular, athletic young man at Skyline High School. He was attractive and charismatic; he was even a standout wide receiver on the football team. Then, one day during his junior year (in 2005), he quit. He started to become more solemn, introverted, and studious. This, of course, coincided with his first discovery of his strange abilities (unbeknownst to anyone). At first, Harry couldn't control his powers and a neighborhood dog (not to mention the the neighbor's fence) was injured when these powers first manifested themselves. He was scared that his powers will hurt someone severely if he can't control them, so he stopped playing sports, dating, and partying, and he spent his time reading and learning. He tried to read about the virus and the paranormals from 40 years ago. He became interested in science, biology, medicine, pathology, and virology. Within a year or so, he had discovered all his powers and had learned to control them. At night, when he thought he could get away with it, he enjoyed testing them out in rural or open locations. He still feared hurting someone but he was now convinced that he could control himself. Harry finished high school and graduated with honors. He is bright and he studied hard, but he's not a genius and isn't the valedictorian or anything. He earned a full, four-year scholarship to the University of Toronto and his parents were thrilled that he would be following in his dad's footsteps. By this point, moving to Dallas was good for his dad; he was now a senior manager at AMR (American Airlines' parent company). Harry majored in biology, with dreams of going to medical school. He did well in college and graduated in four years. During that time, he even came out of his shell a little. His roommates set him up on a few blind double dates and he played Wingman for his roommates many times over the course of four years. He did have one steady girlfriend during his sophomore year, but he was never able to be completely honest with her. She sensed there was more going on that he would not talk about and ultimately she broke off their relationship. He had become convinced that this will always be. He'll never be able to be really close to anyone because he carries this secret. In 2010, Harry graduated college with a decent GPA and all, but after several attempts, he could not get accepted into any medical school and he gave up on that dream. His parents offered to pay for him to get an MBA if he would move back to Texas. He accepted, got an apartment in Uptown and after 14 months, he had SMU Cox Business School MBA on his wall. His dad got him a job at AMR and he settled into the routine of corporate middle management. He's got a very nice salary, a sports car, an expensive apartment, and no real happiness. He doesn't enjoy his job and he has no one to share his life with. Then, one day, he made a decision to take on the part-time job of a costumed superhero. After all, it's 2014, and the world needs paranormals again to help us clean up this place. Obviously, there was the threat of the virus around, but he has never been affected by it in nearly 10 years since his abilities first appeared. Besides, there was no cure before. If he gets the virus, it will kill him, whether he sits at home alone or is out patrolling the streets fighting crime. So, for the last year, he has been fighting crime in a costume as Lone Star. He still has his full-time day job at AMR, but now he has found something he enjoys. |

| PERSONALITY | |||||
|
Harry is a committed loner and bachelor. After hurting things around him when he couldn't control his powers, he kept those abilities to himself. When he was in college, he went for months without even using his abilities as he even tried to hid his abilities from himself. Now, as Lone Star, he has found a way to use his talents for good. He honestly wants to help make this town and this country a better place for everyone. |

| POWERS/TACTICS | |||||
| Lone Star has two main tactics in combat, depending on the level of the competition. With low-level thugs, he can teleport to them and punch their lights out. If they try to punch back, he instinctively teleports away to dodge their attempts. With more difficult adversaries, Lone Star prefers to hover above the ground a safe distance away and use his teleportation destabilization attack. This ability teleports a target over and over again dozens of times in one second, wreaking havoc with their metabolism and often causing them to pass out. | |||||
